Frequently asked questions
Answers about private transactions, rewards, validator setup, and independent builder submissions.
2 min readWhy is my transaction still pending?#
A hash confirms acceptance, not inclusion. The transaction needs successful execution and a winning block on an eligible relay duty. Check its receipt and nonce before resubmitting. The private queue expires after 30 minutes and may disappear after a restart.
Does a higher tip guarantee inclusion?#
No. It can improve the block’s validator value, but relay competition and proposer eligibility still decide inclusion. The RPC does not automatically raise your fees.
Is my priority fee split 60/40?#
No. Ordinary priority fees go to the validator. The standard 60/40 split applies to BlockFerret’s net added MEV after costs. Eligible fee-depositor proposers also receive half of the standard builder retention.
Do expired transactions become public?#
BlockFerret never automatically broadcasts them publicly. Sending the same transaction through another public RPC can make it public. Once included on-chain, the transaction is public.
Which IP do public read providers see?#
Ordinary wallet reads use the proxy server’s outbound IP. A compatible custom client can try direct reads from the user’s device and implement proxy fallback. Normal wallets should keep the regular URL without redirect flags.
Do validators hand over their keys?#
No. Validators keep their keys and fee recipient. The relay verifies builder bids, and the validator uses its own client to propose a selected block.
Does builder acceptance guarantee selection?#
No. A complete-block candidate must pass replay and payment gates against the latest candidate, be selected, win the relay duty, and land on-chain. Check owner-only status and canonical receipts.
Can outside builders access private orderflow?#
No. Public templates omit private wallet bytes and our signed captures. A template is unavailable if it cannot be provided without exposing protected private transactions.
Does BlockFerret sandwich trades?#
No. It does not front-run or sandwich user transactions. User backruns execute after the user. Retained user outcomes are checked during full-block replay.
Where should I start?#
Wallet users can connect the private RPC. Validators can set up Vouch mev-boost. Builders can submit a complete block. The homepage carries live performance.
